Self-taught, my range of musical engagement includes - eons ago, in the Jurassic - as singer-songwriter-guitarist in bands, later, as composer-arranger-producer-singer-performer in the Australian / Finno-Ugrian choir 'Kiri-uu' and generally as composer-arranger-producer-performer of audio and audio-visual electronica, either solo or in collaboration with other artists.

In the lineage of modernising the genre, I'm known for my re-imagining of Estonian and kindred Finno-Ugrian folk music, whether completely from scratch, using traditional sources or through reinterpreting the work of other arrangers, most notably that of Estonia's Veljo Tormis. Veljo’s work and personal guidance provided me with great insight into the essence of this folkloric universe.

These days it's just me and my laptop seeking the truth.
